I joined the PRDC as it provides a great opportunity to represent the voices of resident doctors at a local and national level. 

I am interested in general psychiatry and see myself working in the outpatient setting. I would love to be able to incorporate nutritional psychiatry into my practice at some point in the future as it’s such an interesting and growing field. Having completed the equivalent of core training overseas and joining the psychiatry training programme at ST4 level, I am keen to connect with other doctors who have been in this position to ensure the transition can be as seamless as possible. I also work LTFT and have had periods of parental leave. This is a difficult adjustment to make, but with lots of resident doctors in this position, it would be great to connect and engage with others around this process. 

Outside of work, I am the mum to two wonderful and lively children! When not catching up on the latest Bluey episode, I can be found out running or relaxing with a good book or podcast.
