Dr Wamiqur Rehman Gajdharas felt encouraged to join the PRDC after he was offered appropriate exam support by a previous representative, he now wants to help other trainees in similar situations and strives to offer resident doctors in other parts of the UK better access to academic and training opportunities.
Representing Wales, Wamique is pursuing general adult psychiatry, medical psychotherapy, and academic psychiatry. He has further interests in the intersection of philosophy, sociology, politics, and culture with mental health and is an advocate for eLearning and remote learning.
Outside of work, you can find Wamique watching auteur cinema, attending an indie music festival, or clicking photos.
