Dr Rachel Ball is a PRDC representative for the Scotland Division.
Dr Rachel Ball is a current CT2 in NHS Grampian, based at Royal Cornhill Hospital. She joined the PRDC in January 2024, having also been elected as a co-chair of the local junior doctor committee at Royal Cornhill Hospital in September 2023 and additionally being a core trainee representative on the “RCPsych in Scotland Scottish Workforce & Careers Committee” since February 2023.
Prior to starting core psychiatry training, Rachel worked as a clinical development fellow in psychiatry in NHS Borders between 2021 and 2022, having completed foundation training in NHS Tayside between 2019-2021.
She looks forward to working with the committee to identify the challenges and opportunities for change faced by junior doctors in psychiatry training.
