Share your ideas

Contributing to The Registrar is a great opportunity to engage with your Psychiatric Resident Doctors’ Committee and fellow resident psychiatrists, and share your experiences, projects, or ideas with fellow residents. It’s also a chance to see your work published and discussed.

The magazine welcomes article ideas on topics relevant to training and practice, including pieces on education, leadership, research, conferences, exams, recruitment, interviews and any other issues you feel are important to resident doctors. We particularly love hearing about innovative projects that fit with our aim to improve recruitment, training, and retention training, as well as interesting activities psychiatrists do outside of their clinical work, that complement their practice.

Short adverts for upcoming events, courses or conferences will also be considered.

Please note: You do not need to submit full articles initially, as the editor will first consider the proposal, and if accepted will provide a steer to develop the content, define the scope, and advise on the appropriate word count for your piece.
