New date for transitioning ePortfolio
We have an update about the launch of the new RCPsych ePortfolio for training. After the first phase of user testing, we found there were areas that still required development.
As a result, we’ve made the decision to push back our go live date to August 2026.
We know some of you have been waiting for the upgrade and we appreciate your patience. We believe this delay is necessary to ensure the new platform is robust, user-friendly and supports your training smoothly from day one.
What this means for you now:
- Continue to use the existing ePortfolio as normal.
- Ensure all your training records, assessments, CPD, career entries, WPBAs, etc. are assigned to the correct folders in Portfolio Online and none are ‘unassigned’.
- There is no change to deadlines or training requirements.
- We will transfer data to the new platform but it will be read-only so ensure it’s complete as you will not be able to edit it later.
What happens next:
- We will continue to develop and undertake testing until release.
- We will provide regular updates via our eNewsletters and website.
- Ahead of launching the new ePortfolio, we will offer training materials and support to help you transition smoothly.
- We will also share a comprehensive transition guide, so you know exactly what to expect.
