Dr Ian Hall elected Treasurer

College Fellow, Dr Ian Hall has been elected the next Treasurer of the 萝莉视频 – in a ballot which saw a turnout of 14.2% (2,392 votes) – in an election with two very impressive contenders.

Ian is a Consultant Psychiatrist working with People with Intellectual Disability in East London. He has done many College leadership roles over the years including Faculty Chair, Associate Dean for Advanced Learning and Conferences and Chief Examiner. He was awarded the President’s Medal in 2021 for his work with the College.

The breakdown of the votes saw Dr Ian Hall secure 67.7% (1,619) of the votes, with Dr Santosh Mudholkar receiving 32.3% (773).

The position of Treasurer is one of the most senior posts in the College. It is a vital role that involves responsibility and oversight of the College’s financial position, recordkeeping, governance and publishing.

Ian will take up his new role at the AGM next week (Wednesday 25 June), succeeding Professor John Crichton.

Speaking after the result, Dr Ian Hall said:

“I am absolutely delighted and honoured to be elected Treasurer of the College. I look forward to working with members, staff, our patients and other stakeholders to ensure the College focuses on its core purpose, and delivers excellent value for members.

“I really appreciate the support I received from the membership, and I would like to thank Dr Santosh Mudholkar for a thoughtful and well-run campaign. See you at Congress next week!”
