Spirituality SIG event attendees
Spirituality SIG Annual Conference 2023

Our events usually occur twice a year and are attended by a wide range of College members. Some are also open to the wider public or guests as advertised. Numbers range from smaller events (like the one pictured) up to 200 for our 20th Anniversary Conference.

We have an extensive range of PDF abstracts and some audio/video from past events going back 20 years – please see our publications archive.

SPSIG Connect

The Spirituality and Psychiatry SIG are pleased to announce 'SPSIG Connect' a new series of quarterly zoom sessions focused on providing a safe space for conversations on topics and cases that explore the relationship between spirituality, religion and psychiatry.

  • Session date: Thursday 22 January 2026
  • Time: 6:00pm
  • Title: Spirituality as part of clinical assessment and formulation
  • Facilitators: Drs Chetna Kang and Shah Tarfarosh

We kindly ask that you please only sign-up to a session if you are able to attend - spaces are capped at 25. If you find you have signed up to a session that you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing sigs@rcpsych.ac.uk.

SPSIG drop-ins are informal sessions, hosted on zoom by members of the SPSIG executive committee. Please note, they are not recorded.

Zoom joining details are shared a couple of days before the sessions. Please make a note of the session you have signed up to in your calendar in the meantime.

We look forward to seeing there!
