The Chair:  Has overall responsibility for the members of the Executive Committee.

Our Chair Dr Sunil Nodiyal is a Consultant Psychiatrist working in the field of rehabilitation psychiatry in Newcastle and Gateshead area. He has been in psychiatry for over 30 years and has special interest in psychopharmacology, complex psychosis, recovery and co-production in mental health. He is a passionate teacher and has also published in his field of expertise. He is a trained appraiser, mentor and executive life coach and supporting doctors through their careers or during time of any difficulties is his mission.

The Vice Chair: Is responsible for providing the College Registrar with the number of members in the Division, the number of meetings held each year and details of elected officers.

Our Vice Chair Dr Sumeet Gupta is a Consultant Psychiatrist with extensive NHS experience since 2005, currently based at Harrogate & Wetherby Community Mental Health Team. He specializes in affective disorders and psychopharmacology. Holding an MBBS, MD Psychiatry, CCST, and a Diploma in Clinical Trials, he also serves as Associate Clinical Director (R&D) at TEWV NHS Trust and Vice-Chair of RCPsych North Zone. Dr. Gupta has led numerous clinical trials and published widely in psychiatric journals, contributing significantly to mental health advancement

The Finance Officer: Is responsible for keeping account of Division expenditure and submitting a yearly business plan to the Treasurer.

Our Finance Officer Dr Narendra Sharma is a Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist, practicing since 2013. He serves as the finance officer for the Northern and Yorkshire Division of the 萝莉视频 and holds additional roles as a college tutor and CASC examiner. Dr Sharma enjoys combining clinical work with educational and leadership responsibilities, particularly his work in finance. Outside of psychiatry, he has a passion for sports and traveling, which offer a refreshing balance to his professional life. He remains committed to supporting both patients and future psychiatrists.

The Executive Committee also has four elected members, several co-opted and ex-officio members and regional representation from nine Faculties.
