Retired and Resting Psychiatrists Event details
Each year, we run a programme of courses aimed specifically at retired and resting psychiatrists. We're delighted to confirm that our autumn event will be held in-person at The Bristol Hotel. Dr Melanie Merricks has put together a programme that features talks from retired doctors across the south west along with a world café session on appraisal and revalidation, 360 feedback and PDP groups.

Annual Dinner details
The South West Division Executive Committee is delighted to again host our Annual Dinner, which all members of the South West Division are welcome to attend.
Free places are offered to new Members in the Division to celebrate obtaining their MRCPsych, to new CRD1s, and to new Fellows in recognition of this prestigious award. We hope that members, guests and friends of the Division will be able to join us to mark this special occasion.

Autumn Biannual Meeting details
Professor Dheeraj Rai has put together an exciting programme on the theme of 'Psychiatry in the age of neurodiversity', which promises a day rich in learning and professional engagement, and there will be plenty of networking opportunities along with prize and poster presentations.

- paying via BACS and submitting your remittance form to the Division office.

A 10% discount applies if you book onto more than one event on 13 - 14 November.

Nearest stations - Bristol Temple Meads (0.8 miles) and Bristol Parkway (8.1 miles).
Great Western Railway (GWR) is offering discounted tickets for delegates to travel to Bristol by train. Tickets for travel on GWR routes can be purchased via the . You will need proof that you are a conference delegate in order to purchase the tickets. GWR is only able to provide conference tickets for travel out of London, and not for travel heading into London at present.
Bus
The Bristol Bus and Coach Station is 2.5 miles from the hotel and there is an extensive bus network across the city.
Cycle or scooter
Bristol is the UK's first Cycling City, with a huge range of cycle routes, scooter and bike hire, and places to park your bike. See for more information.
Road
Car parking is available for delegates at ?12 per day. Please park in the on-site NCP car park on Prince Street and register your car registration with the hotel reception on departure to receive your validated ticket. Spaces allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
The hotel is situated in Bristol's Clean Air Zone, which came into operation in 2022. The most polluting vehicles will have to pay a daily charge to travel within the area. You can check your car at .

We offer a discounted rate for a limited number of core trainees to attend the conference, and bursaries for medical students and foundation doctors to attend and present a poster.
